This page lists what we store in your browser and why. Most of it is needed to make the site work or to remember your own choices. Analytics and approximate-location lookups only run if you accept them.

Categories we use
Strictly necessary
Required for the site to function — signing in, keeping your session, and security. These cannot be turned off, and we do not need consent for them.
Preferences
Remembers choices you made yourself, such as your saved favourites or the finish you last looked at. Stored only in your browser and never used to track you across other websites.
Analytics (consent required)
Helps us understand how the site is used so we can improve it. Includes Google Analytics and our own engagement measurement, plus the approximate-location lookup used to surface nearby installations. Off until you accept.
We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

Some of these are stored using your browser's local storage rather than as cookies. The effect is the same and you can clear them the same way.
Managing storage in your browser
Every major browser lets you view, block and delete cookies and site data through its settings. Blocking strictly-necessary storage will stop parts of the site — sign-in and saved favourites in particular — from working.
You can also opt out of Google Analytics across all sites using Google's browser add-on.
