Wishbone Site Furnishings supports “green” building practices. Our powder coating contains no VOCs, and the chemicals used in the process can be safely neutralized and disposed of — reducing impact on human health compared to other coatings.
We use super-durable polyester powders that retain greater than 50% of their original gloss for a minimum of five years in exposures comparable to South Florida. These powders meet AAMA 2604 specifications (Pewter excluded), along with Qualicoat Class II, GSB Master and BS EN 1206 requirements.

The five-stage application process
Every frame is prepared through a five-stage wash before powder is applied and cured:
- Degrease. A heated alkaline-based cleaner removes oils and contaminants.
- Rinse. An aerated cold-water rinse removes the degreaser solution.
- Etch. An aerated acid-based solution etches and cleans the substrate.
- Rinse. An aerated fresh-water rinse removes the cleaning solution.
- Seal. An E-CLPS seal coat — a chrome-free, non-phosphate liquid coating — adds corrosion protection and improves paint bonding.
